Currently, I am using the Interaction System to setup an interaction with a game object. The interaction system solves the interaction with FBBIK. I would like to "constraint" the FBBIK to solve only using some of the parts of the character's body (I guess it would not be a FBBIK anymore). For example, I would like to keep the position of the legs and to solve only the upper part of the body.

Is it possible to do this with Final IK? If no, would you recommend me to modify the FBBIK code?

Yes, set "Spine Stiffness", "Pull Body Vertical" and "Pull Body Horizontal" to 0 in Body settings. Then also set "Mapping Weight" to 0 in the leg settings and "Pull" to 0 in arm settings.
